BIOGRAPHY
Jack was a half-forward who was recruited from a local Richmond church team. He spent four seasons with Richmond, winning the Reserves’ Goalkicking award twice. He impressed in his first season with the Reserves, "In J McConchie they have discovered a "find", his high marking and forward play being a feature. He is already spoken of as a likely player for the senior club" (The Age 22 Aug 1931)
In his only senior Final, in 1933, he played one quarter with a broken collarbone. Jack left Richmond and played briefly with Sandringham, in 1935, before transferring to Fitzroy for two years.
