AFL Hall of Fame
Background
The Australian Football Hall of Fame was inaugurated by the AFL in 1996 to honour people for their, “... contributions to Australian Football throughout its history.”
At the initial induction, 136 players, umpires, media were inducted. From that list, 12 Legends were elevated.
