BIOGRAPHY
Allan was a utility player who served a long apprenticeship at Richmond after working his way through the Thirds and Seconds. In 1985 he won the Under/19’s Best and Fairest and was a member of their Premiership side. He made his senior debut in 1986 with his best senior season being 1989 when he ran third in the club Best and Fairest. After eight seasons with Richmond he was drafted to Footscray in 1991 where he played in the reserves. He moved to Sydney in 1992, but he injured his shoulder and missed most of the season. He was delisted by the Swans at the end of the 1992 season. Allan has played with Wonthaggi Rovers since.
