BIOGRAPHY
Angus Graham grew up on King Island, Tasmania , attended Assumption College , Kilmore and played with the Calder Cannons in
the TAC Cup. Angus was drafted by Richmond with pick 5 in the 2006 AFL Rookie Draft. He made his senior debut with Richmond in Round 18 , 2007 against Geelong . After 2 senior games in 2007 Angus suffered a broken ankle and was unable to reach the level of fitness required for senior football and did not play a senior game in 2008 . Angus played 16 senior games of strong football in 2009 effectively taking the number 1 ruck role from Troy Simmonds . Angus was an honest competitor who thrived on hard work played 15 senior games with Richmond in 2010 and 14 in 2011 but with the arrival of Ivan Maric played 1 senior game in 2012. Angus was traded by Richmond to Adelaide for Adelaide’s pick 42 in the 2012 AFL National Draft . Richmond used pick 42 to draft Matthew McDonough in the 2012 AFL National Draft. Angus was a ruck back-up for Sam Jacobs at Adelaide and did not play a senior game.
