BIOGRAPHY
Miles won the club's Best First Year player in 2014.
He then played every game in the 2015 season.
He played 39 consecutive games from his debut, until early missing Rd 4 2016. He then played a further 16 straight games.
Miles was restricted to just five senior appearances during the 2017 season because of the Tigers’ strong midfield depth, but he approached his football in the VFL with typical professionalism and determination.
He regularly racked up high statistical numbers and was a driving force behind the VFL team’s rise to runner-up status in 2017. He finished that season winning the club's Reserves Best and Fairest.
“Anthony is highly regarded by his teammates and the Club as a whole. His strong work ethic, contested ball-winning ability and commitment to the team are second to none. Despite limited opportunities in 2017, he is a proven AFL player, who will continue to make a significant contribution to the Club,” Richardson said.
He was re-signed for 1 year on November 6 2017, and for the 2018 season tied for the J.J. Liston medal for Best Player in the VFL competition.
