BIOGRAPHY
Anthony was a talented forward whose VFL career was interrupted by a series of injuries. He spent five seasons at Richmond and was a member of the Under/19s 1968 and 1970 Premiership sides. He also won the Under 19s Best and Fairest award in 1968, making the senior side in his second season in 1969, only to finish in the thirds in the following season. By 1974 he had undergone four knee operations which hampered his mobility. He played briefly with Caulfield before moving to Drysdale and then Grovedale. Anthony now lives at Glen Iris. His brother Greg played in Richmond's Under/19 team and later played with Oakleigh and North Adelaide.
