BIOGRAPHY
Basil was a small but skilful centre line player who was recruited from Richmond YCW. He spent two seasons at Richmond, before crossing to Box Hill. He is the younger brother of former Richmond full-forward Jack O'Rourke.
His father, Jack Senior played 29 games for St. Kilda between 1920 and 1924, and 34 games for Fitzroy between 1925 and 1927.
