BIOGRAPHY
Ben Hollands originally played at North Albury playing in the 1995 Teal Cup representing New South Wales ( NSW ). Ben was originally recruited by Sydney as a Zone Selection nomination but only played reserves football . Richmond drafted Ben with pick 36 in the 1998 AFL Rookie Draft and he was added to the Richmond senior list through a Rookie Elevation.
Ben played his first senior game with Richmond in Round 6, 1999 against Essendon. Ben’s most memorable game was kicking the
winning goal seconds before the final siren in the Tigers Round 13 , 1999 , one point win over Fremantle at Subiaco Oval.
Ben was delisted by Richmond at the end of the 1999 season.
