BIOGRAPHY
William was a utility player who had stints in defence and attack. Recruited from Birchip, he was a strong mark and once kicked 7 goals against North Melbourne in Round 16 of 1930. He was full-back for the 1929 Grand Final side. He moved to West Perth in 1933 and went on to captain their 1934 Premiership side as well as winning their Best and Fairest award. He died in 1995.
