BIOGRAPHY
William was a solidly built ruck-rover and half-back. Recruited from Essendon Reserves, his only senior game for Richmond was against Carlton in Round 2 of 1930. He then crossed to Coburg where he spent four seasons. He retired from football to concentrate on running his own plastics company.
