BIOGRAPHY
Bill Nicholls played originally for North Shore Geelong when 15 years of age and then moved to Geelong Falcons U/18 in the TAC Cup. Bill was drafted by Hawthorn with pick 69 in the 1999 AFL National Draft and played 6 games of senior football. Hawthorn delisted Bill at the end of 2002. Bill re-entered the draft system and was drafted by Richmond with pick 47 in the 2002 AFL National Draft. Bill played 10 games with Richmond and was unable to secure a regular place in the senior team. Bill retired from AFL football at the end of 2003. In 2015 he was sentence to 11 years in prison for a shooting.
