BIOGRAPHY
William was a full-back. Originally from South Australia he spent four seasons with Richmond before playing with Brunswick, Port Melbourne and Hawthorn. In 1922 he was voted the best full-back in the VFA, as well as playing in Port Melbourne’s Premiership side. He finished his football career with Blackburn in 1925.
