BIOGRAPHY
Robert was a centre-half-forward. Prior to joining Richmond he spent five years at Duntroon Military College where he played Rugby. He made the Richmond Seniors after only one game in the Reserves where he kicked 8 goals. His only senior games for Richmond were the 1942 second semi-final and Grand Final. He did play with the Reserves in 1946 and was a member of their Premiership side. Away from football, Robert served in the Army during the Second World War and later attained the rank of Colonel.
