BIOGRAPHY
Brendan was recruited from Mildura. He played as half-back-flanker or wingman. He had a good turn of speed and was prepared to back his judgement. In his first season at Richmond he was a member of the Under/19’s 1985 Premiership side. He spent eight seasons with Richmond and represented Victoria once, in 1990. He left Richmond after the 1991 seasons and spent 1992 at Essendon, and 1993 at North Melbourne, then half a season with Seymour before seriously injuring his knee. A bank officer, he is the older brother of Darren and Nathan Bower.
