BIOGRAPHY
Brian was a rover and forward-pocket. A local Richmond boy he joined the club from St. Ignatius in 1950, spending three seasons there before crossing to Box Hill for two years. He then moved to Orbost where he played and coached for 20 years. Brian was involved in six Premierships whilst at Orbost and later returned to Melbourne to coach Boronia. His son Michael played 10 games with the Richmond Reserves in 1979. Brian is the brother of Jack Turner and uncle of former Hawthorn player Mark Turner. He now lives in Boronia.
