BIOGRAPHY
Carl was a fast, stylish player, who played in the centre or on the wing. Recruited from Tasmanian club Latroke, he was a fine kick and used the ball well. He was a member of Richmond’s 1928 and 1929 Grand Final sides. After five seasons with Richmond, he crossed to Essendon in 1932 before returning to Tasmania. He was also a professional runner, with the 1924 Ulverstone Gift one of the titles he won. A fireman, he died in 1960.
