BIOGRAPHY
Clay Sampson originally played with Morphett Vale and then South Adelaide before being drafted by Melbourne with pick 51 overall in the 1994 AFL National Draft . Clay played 13 games in 2 years with Melbourne and was traded by Melbourne to Adelaide in exchange for Nick Pesch. Clay played in Adelaide’s 1997 AFL Premiership but was not included in the 1998 Premiership team. Clay moved to Richmond in the 1999 AFL Pre-Season Draft . Clay played 27 senior games in two years with the Tigers and retired from AFL football at the end of 2000.
