BIOGRAPHY
Craig was a strongly-built utility player. He came to Richmond via Collingwood Reserves and later played briefly with Williamstown. He also excelled in athletics until an osteoarthritic hip forced him into retirement. In 1978, he held the Australian Junior Decathlon Record and was an Australian representative at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Canada. His highest athletic rankings were in 1978 when he was rated second in the Decathlon and fourth in the Discus, in Australia. He is a schoolteacher and lives in Geelong. He is the son of Frank Considine who played 21 games with Hawthorn between 1954 and 1957, and coached the Hawthorn Reserves from 1966 until 1971. His brother, Ross, played for both Collingwood and Richmond Reserves and the Fitzroy Senior XI in District Cricket.
