BIOGRAPHY
Cyril played in defence, mainly in the back-pocket. Recruited from VFA club Hawthorn, he only spent two years with Richmond. He also played two seasons with Hawthorn when they joined the VFL before crossing to Oakleigh, where he was a member of their first VFA Premiership team in 1930. He later wrote for the Sporting Globe, covering various VFL games during the 1930s and 1940s. Cyril also played two games with the Richmond Cricket Club Senior XI in 1920/21 scoring 14 runs.
