BIOGRAPHY
Dan was a centre-half-forward. A naturally gifted player, he was prevented from displaying his best form at Richmond due to injury. He did kick 6 goals in the wet against Essendon in one of his early VFL games. After returning to Perth, he immediately came under notice winning West Perth’s Best and fairest award at his club, in all three grades in the West Australian Competition. Dan is the son of Brian Foley who played 202 games for West Perth and won the 1959 “Sandover Medal”.
