BIOGRAPHY
Daryl was a talented centreman who had the unique honour of playing in Premiership sides with the Fourths , Thirds Reserves and Seniors whilst at Richmond. He kicked 6 goals and was voted Richmond’s best player in the Thirds 1975 Premiership win. He was a creative player who possessed fine ball skills. He had a horror run with hamstring injuries which caused him to miss many games . A member of the 1980 Senior Premiership side , he left Richmond and moved to Perth where he played three seasons . Away from football he has had great success in in horseracing. He was part-owner of Stylish Lord which won 25 races , including the Railway Stakes in 1990 . Daryl still lives in Perth , where he works with the Taxation Department.
