BIOGRAPHY
Dean Polo played with Wy Yung in Gippsland and moved to Gippsland Power in the TAC Cup. Dean was drafted by Richmond
with pick 20 overall in the 2004 AFL National Draft . Dean a half back and sometimes wingman did not play a senior game in 2005 and had to wait to play his first senior game with Richmond till Round 6, 2006 against Essendon in the “ Dreamtime at the G” game . Dean in his debut senior game had 28 disposals and 3 goals in a great performance which saw him win the Yiooken Award for Best Player on the ground and receive a Rising star nomination . Dean played the rest of 2006 in the senior team and finished 9th in in the club Best and Fairest. Dean played 8 games in 2007and 6 games in 2008 but after missing Round 1 in 2009 he played the rest of the season in the senior team finishing 9 th again in the club Best and Fairest. Dean played 4 games in 2010 and was delisted by Richmond at the end of the year.
