BIOGRAPHY
Desmond played most of his football on the wing. He played with Richmond for two seasons after spending six seasons with Fitzroy. He later served on the Fitzroy Committee between 1956 and 1965 and is a Life Member of the Fitzroy Past Players. . His brother, Bruce, played 90 games for Fitzroy from 1936 until 1946, as well as winning the 1938 “Gardiner” Medal. Desmond’s sons Graham (11 games) and Ray (21 games) both played with Fitzroy in the mid-1960s.
