BIOGRAPHY
Des was a utility player. He originally started his football career at the Collingwood Christian Brothers College. He crossed to Collingwood in 1941 and remained there until early 1945 when he transferred to Richmond for the remainder of that year. In 1946 he played with Coburg. Des now lives in Sydney. Aside from football, he was the 1939 Australian Schoolboy Handball Champion.
