BIOGRAPHY
Richard was a wingman and half-back. He was a steady player and a fine kick to position. He was a very determined player who never gave up, playing 51 consecutive senior games between 1935 and 1938 which was punctuated only by a six match suspension incurred in Round 15 of 1936. After leaving Richmond, he played with Footscray, South and North Melbourne all in the space of four years.
