BIOGRAPHY
Don was a full-forward and centre-half-forward. A strong mark and long left-foot kick, he spent four seasons with Fitzroy before crossing to Richmond for one year.
Whilst at Richmond, he won the 1954 Reserves’ Grade Competition Top Goalkicker award and played in their Premiership side.
After leaving Richmond, he played with Brighton and then Mornington.
During his career, he won a total of 10 Goalkicking awards with his best individual effort being 14 goals for Mornington against Rosebud. He was a versatile sportsman who also represented Victoria eight times in basketball.
His brother, Eddie Hart played 98 games and kicked 323 goals with Fitzroy between 1941 and 1951. Another brother, Arthur, played 36 games between 1938 and 1941.
