BIOGRAPHY
Doug was a wingman. He originally started his VFL career with Footscray Reserves in 1951. He spent a total of seven seasons with Footscray and was a member of their only Premiership team in 1954. He was voted in Footscray’s best players in both the 1954 second-semi and Grand Final wins. He spent 1958 and 1959 with Richmond, winning the Reserves’ Best and Fairest in 1959. He is still a member of the Footscray Past Players and now lives in Kingsville.
