BIOGRAPHY
“Mick” played as a half-back-flanker. Recruited locally to Richmond he later played with Carlton during the First World War. Away from football, he was a champion sprinter who at one stage was the fastest man in Australia.
In 1912 he won the Stawell Gift, having previously won the Echuca Gift in 1911 off 13 yards,
