BIOGRAPHY
Frank played mainly as a rover and forward-pocket. A local Carlton boy he spent six seasons with that club after working his way up from the Under 19/s to the seniors. He transferred to Richmond during the 1956 season, playing for one and half seasons before moving to Gippsland where he successfully coached Lakes Entrance, Morwell and Traralgon. He had his greatest success in the Latrobe Valley League where he coached the representative side and won the competition Goalkicking award in 1965 with 65 majors. Traralgon also won three successive Premierships, 1963, 1964 and 1965, whilst he was in charge. Frank is a Life Member of the Traralgon Football Club, and he still lives in that city.
