BIOGRAPHY
Frank was a man who served Richmond loyally on and loff the field. As a player he played on the wing where he used his great pace to advantage. He spent four seasons with Richmond and was a member of the Seniors 1927 Grand Final team and the Reserves 1929 Premiership side. After retiring as a player, he served on the Richmond Football Club Committee between 1930 and 1934, the Selection Committee in 1935 and as Senior Vice President between 1936 and 1955.
He was, the Richmond Annual Report of 1930 wrote, 'solely responsible for the drawing up of the rules and constitution of the Player's Provident Fund'
A solicitor and barrister, he served the club in this capacity between 1929 and 1945. He was a foundation member of the Richmond Former Players and Officials Association and was awarded Life Membership in 1935.
Away from football, Frank was a fine athlete who won the 1926 Wangaratta Gift professional foot race. He also played Senior XI District Cricket with St. Kilda as an opening bowler. He died in 1986.
