BIOGRAPHY
Fred played on the half-back-flank. He was the identical twin brother of Keith Cook, who also made his senior debut on the same day, Round 1 of 1944 against Melbourne. Fred was a member of the 1944 Grand Final side. Recruited from Croydon, he later coached with some success in the Eastern District League. Fred served in the R.A.A.F for five years during the Second World War. He died during the 1980’s.
