BIOGRAPHY
Fred was a utility player who was renowned for his courage and tenacity. He played his early football with Orbost before moving to Geelong in 1959. He spent only one season with Geelong, before transferring to Richmond for one year. He then moved to Bairnsdale, before coaching Griffith and Wagga. Fred retired from football at 24.
