BIOGRAPHY
Gary was a skillful rover who was originally recruited to Richmond from Tasmania. He spent three seasons with Richmond and in 1964 won the ‘Gardiner Medal’ as the VFL Reserves Best and Fairest player. Gary moved to Dandenong in 1965 when he finished fourth in the ‘Liston Trophy’. He then spent two years with West Australian club Claremont. On his return to Victoria, he coached Bentleigh and then Mitcham .
