BIOGRAPHY
Geoff was a talented, straight-ahead type of half-back-flanker who served Richmond well during a golden era in the late 1960s. Recruited from Albury he originally came to Richmond as a forward, he was a pacy player and a safe mark. A dashing defender he was a splendid drop kick and read the game well. He was a member of the 1967 and 1969 Premiership teams and also ran second in the 1966 Best and Fairest award. After seven seasons with Richmond he moved to the Mike Patterson coached North Adelaide where he played for three years. Geoff then returned to the Albury area. His is the son of Doug Strang and nephew of Gordon Strang.
