BIOGRAPHY
George played in the back pocket. He originally started his career in the Sunday League before moving to Collingwood for the 1944-45 seasons. He then spent 1946 with Richmond where he was a member of the Reserves Premiership team. He moved to Williamstown in 1947 before commencing his coaching career in the country. During his football career he was involved in nine Premiership teams. George also served in the Army during the Second World War.
