BIOGRAPHY
George was a left-footed wingman, half-forward and rover. He came to Richmond in 1921, trained once, played one senior game against Fitzroy in Round 11 of 1921 and then returned to the country. George played well enough to earn some praise from the highly critical scribe attached to the local Richmond paper. Away from football, he was involved in a family saw milling business and as a result he was a fine axeman. George was also a good runner who won several country races.
