BIOGRAPHY
George played in the back-pocket and on the half-back-flank. Five of his 12 senior games, with Richmond, were Finals matches and this included the 1920 Premiership team. During the season, he would play country football and then play with Richmond once his country team had finished or had a bye. He was a fine footballer in his own right and he would have been a regular senior player had he lived in Melbourne permanently.
