BIOGRAPHY
Gerald played most of his senior football at centre-half-back. He was a steady defender who left Richmond and moved to South Melbourne. After one season with South he moved to Port Melbourne where he really excelled in their Premiership sides of 1940 and 1941. He returned to South Melbourne in 1944 whilst the VFA was in recess due to the war.
