BIOGRAPHY
Glynn was a half-forward-flanker who was very dangerous around the goals. Recruited from West Adelaide, he represented South Australia four times during his career. He spent two seasons with Richmond but found it hard to establish himself on a regular basis due to the abundance of talent at the club. He was a member of the Reserves 1973 Premiership side. His highest individual goal tally was 5 against Fitzroy in Round 13 of 1974. He then kicked 4 the following week against Melbourne. On his return to South Australia he played some games at full-forward. In 1979, he won the Competition Goalkicking award with 83 goals, whilst playing with Woodville. He is a Life Member of the West Adelaide Football Club. His father Max, played 129 games for West Adelaide and his brother Darryl played seven games for the Richmond Seconds in 1983 and 26 senior games with St.Kilda in 1981 and 1982, plus 266 games with South Adelaide. In total, the Hewitt family played 723 senior games. Glynn is now living in Adelaide.
