BIOGRAPHY
Graeme was a half-back and half-forward-flanker. He played his early football with Echuca before moving to Geelong. He spent four seasons with Geelong before transferring to Richmond. For his height he was a very strong mark, a good left-foot kick and a fine tackler. He was a very consistent performer with Richmond and unlucky to miss the 1980 Premiership side due to a suspension resulting from the Qualifying Final. He was a member of the 1982 Grand Final team and he ran third in the 1983 Best and Fairest award. He spent eight seasons with Richmond before returning to Geelong for the last two years of his career. In 1992 and 1993, he was assistant coach of the Geelong Falcons Under/18 team. Geelong were the inaugural Victorian State Football League Premiers in 1992. Graeme was Richmond’s Senior runner in 1994 and 1995. Away from football he is a fitter and turner and lives in Geelong.
