BIOGRAPHY
Hugh was a ruckman. He played his early football with Richmond’s Junior team Beverley’s, before standing out of football for several years. He then joined Clifton Hill CYMS in 1920 and the following year he was recruited by Richmond. He spent two seasons with Richmond before crossing to Preston. Hugh was the younger brother of David Moffatt.
