BIOGRAPHY
Jack captained the Royal Australian Artillery team and played in the Richmond's scratch match of March 1913. He had originally been brought down by his fellow Artilleryman Shorten to play for Collingwood, but Richmond snapped him up.
He had earlier played originally played one game with Geelong in 1909.
A defender, he spent two seasons with Richmond before joining the R.A.A.F and serving overseas during the First World War. Jack was seriously wounded during the war and never played football again.
