BIOGRAPHY
Jack was a rover and forward pocket. Originally rejected by Richmond after playing with their junior side, Beverley, he then spent eight seasons at St Kilda before returning to Richmond.
However in 1921, in his fifth season at StKilda , they granted a clearance to him to go to Richmond, but it was blocked by the Umpire and Permit Committee. It would be another 5 years before he made his way to Tigerland.
At St Kilda, he was a fine player who went on to represent Victoria twice, as well as winning the club Goalkicking award three times. The main features of his game were his accurate passing and his ability to kick well with either foot. Away from football , he worked as an SEC Linesman and he died in 1977.
