BIOGRAPHY
John was a half-back-flanker. He was recruited from Colac to Richmond in 1908. He crossed to North Melbourne in 1909 and played there for seven seasons, also coaching the senior team for a short time, in 1931. He was also a very good runner, with the Colac Sprint being one of the titles he captured during his athletics career. He died in 1968.
