BIOGRAPHY
James was a wingman who originally started with the Richmond Thirds in 1990. During that year he was selected in the Teal Cup side and went on to gain selection in the All-Australian team. He was an example of how persistence pays off, having twice been de-listed by Richmond, he continued to try and eventually gained selection. He improved in 1993 and after several consistent performances with the reserves he gained promotion. He was a hard working player who moved well. James did not gain senior selection in 1994 and was de-listed. In 1995 he played with Norwood where he won the Goal kicking award.
