BIOGRAPHY
James was recruited to Richmond from Melbourne. He spent the early part of his BFL career in defence. He was later shifted into the centre where his dashing style of play was more suited. He was also a fines cricketer who represented the St Kilda Senior XI between 1991 and 1914. Batting 29 times he scored 592 runs with a highest score or 80 and he also took 34 wickets. He was an all-rounder who batted in the middle order and bowled medium pace.
