BIOGRAPHY
John was a half-back-flanker and ruck-rover. He worked his way up from the fourths to the Seniors at Richmond, before transferring to Port Melbourne. He gave Port great service, captaining the side for three years and representing the VFA in the 1966 Interstate Carnival. He later moved to Sydney where he played with Western Suburbs as well as representing New South Wales for five years. He lived in Sydney til his death in 2006
