BIOGRAPHY
Jordan McMahon playing for Glenelg in the SANFL was drafted by the Western Bulldogs with pick 10 overall in the 2000 AFL National Draft. Jordan played 114 senior games with the Western Bulldogs before being traded to Richmond in exchange for Richmond’s pick 19 in the 2007 AFL National Draft. The Western Bulldogs used pick 19 to draft Callan Ward in the 2007 AFL National Draft. Jordan , a defender made his senior debut for Richmond in Round 1, 2008 against Carlton. Jordan played all 22 senior games in 2008 and was a high possession getter , also finishing 8th in the club Best and Fairest. Jordan played 12 games with Richmond in 2009 including Round 18, against Melbourne. In that game Jordan kicked the winning goal with a kick after the siren . The sentiment that the goal after the siren had cost Richmond an improved position in the AFL Draft of that year
was squashed by the spontaneity of the jubilation of all Richmond players in grabbing an exciting win , after what had been a dismal season. Jordan was overlooked by new coach Damien Hardwick and did not play a senior game in 2010. He was delisted by Richmond at the end of 2010 and he headed back to Glenelg.
