BIOGRAPHY
Justin Platt is from Penguin , Tasmania . He played with the Tassie Mariners and the Burnie Dockers where he kicked 98 goals in the 1996 season . Justin was drafted by Richmond with pick 7 in the 1997 AFL Rookie Draft. Justin who played in the Tigers Reserves 1997 Premiership was added to Richmond’s senior list with a Rookie Elevation at the end of 1997.
Justin made his debut with the Richmond senior team in Round 14, 1998 against Fremantle kicking 3 goals and in the next game against Carlton he kicked 5 goals. Justin played 7 more games in the senior team in 1998 and played 10 senior games in 1999.
At the end of 1999 Richmond traded Justin to St Kilda in exchange for St Kilda’s pick 37 in the 1999 AFL Draft. Richmond used pick 37 to draft Scott Homewood in the 1999 AFL National Draft.
