BIOGRAPHY
Kim was a strongly-built ruckman who was recruited from South Melbourne Reserves. He was unfortunate to injure himself early in 1980 and was unable to get back into the senior team, after starring in Richmond’s first game of that year, against Hawthorn. He won the Reserves’ Best and Fairest award in 1979. After three seasons at Richmond, he moved to Hawthorn before joining Williamstown where he had outstanding success forming a great ruck partnership with “Brownlow Medallist”, Barry ROUND. Kim’s consistent form at Williamstown earned him four consecutive club Best and Fairest awards as well as running equal third in the 1984 “Listen Trophy.” In 1994, he coached Amateur team University Blacks. He now works in the Banking Industry and lives in Flemington.
